Sukiru Terms of Use

Last updated: 20 February 2026

Hi and welcome to Sukiru.

These Terms explain how Sukiru works, what you can expect from us, and what we expect from you in return.

By creating an account or using the app, you’re agreeing to these Terms. If you’re not comfortable with them, please don’t use Sukiru.

1. Who We Are

Sukiru is built and operated by:

Sukina Software Ltd
20–22 Wenlock Road
London N1 7GU
United Kingdom
hello@sukiru.app

When we say “we”, “us” or “our”, we mean Sukina Software Ltd.

2. What Sukiru Is (and Isn’t)

Sukiru is a digital record-keeping and business support app designed for tattoo and permanent makeup professionals.

It helps you:

  • Store client records
  • Manage appointments
  • Log inks, batch numbers and expiry dates
  • Link inks to sessions
  • Track recall information
  • Send forms and reports
  • Sync with your calendar
  • Take payments through your own Stripe account

Sukiru is a tool to support your business.

It does not replace your professional judgement, medical advice, legal advice, regulatory responsibilities, tax advice or accounting support. You’re still responsible for running your business properly and legally.

3. Who Can Use Sukiru

You must:

  • Be at least 16 years old
  • Be legally able to enter into an agreement
  • Use Sukiru for lawful business purposes

4. Your Account

Please keep your account details secure.

You’re responsible for:

  • Providing accurate information
  • Keeping your login credentials safe
  • Everything that happens under your account

If you think someone has accessed your account without permission, tell us as soon as possible.

5. Your Responsibilities

You’re in control of the information you enter into Sukiru.

That means you’re responsible for:

  • Making sure your data is accurate
  • Getting proper client consent
  • Following data protection laws
  • Complying with health, tax, consumer and other applicable regulations
  • Keeping your own independent backups of important business records

We store data securely in the cloud, but you should always keep backups of anything critical to your business.

6. Accuracy & Information

We work hard to keep Sukiru helpful and reliable. However, we can’t promise that:

  • Every piece of information is always accurate or up to date
  • Ink recall or manufacturer information is error-free
  • Colour swatches match real-world results
  • The app will always be bug-free or uninterrupted

Use your own professional judgement and verify anything important.

Sukiru is provided “as is” and “as available”.

7. Payments & Stripe

Sukiru lets you connect your own Stripe account to take deposits and payments.

A few important things:

  • We are not a payment processor.
  • We don’t hold your money.
  • Payments are handled directly between you and your client through Stripe.

You’re responsible for managing:

  • Refunds
  • Chargebacks
  • Disputes
  • Fraud
  • Taxes and financial compliance

We’re not responsible for Stripe outages, delays, failed transactions or billing errors.

Fees

  • Stripe charges its own processing fees.
  • Core Plan users pay a small Sukiru platform processing fee on payments (this is non-refundable, even if you refund your client).
  • Premium Plan users do not pay a Sukiru processing fee (Stripe fees still apply).

We may disable Stripe access if required by law, Stripe, or if we suspect misuse.

8. Acceptable Use

Please use Sukiru responsibly.

You must not use the app to:

  • Break the law
  • Store fraudulent or illegal information
  • Upload viruses or harmful code
  • Infringe someone else’s intellectual property
  • Harass, threaten or abuse others
  • Attempt to access systems you’re not authorised to access

About Image Uploads

You must not upload images that:

  • Contain illegal material
  • Involve sexual exploitation or inappropriate content involving minors
  • Promote violence, hate or criminal activity
  • Infringe someone else’s rights
  • Contain harmful or malicious code

If we believe an account is being used for unlawful, abusive or harmful behaviour, we may remove it permanently without refund.

You are responsible for ensuring your content:

  • Is lawful
  • Respects client rights
  • Complies with data protection requirements

10. Intellectual Property

All rights in Sukiru — including the software, branding and design — belong to Sukina Software Ltd.

11. Subscriptions

Sukiru offers:

  • Core Plan – Free with limited features

If you upgrade to Premium:

  • Subscriptions renew automatically each month unless cancelled
  • You can cancel anytime through your App Store settings
  • Access continues until the end of your billing period
  • Refunds are only provided where required by law or App Store policy

If you cancel, your account will move back to the Core plan.

We may update pricing or features with reasonable notice.

12. Third-Party Services

Sukiru relies on trusted third-party providers (like hosting services and Stripe).

We can’t control their systems, availability or policies, and we’re not responsible for their outages or errors.

13. Service Availability

We aim to keep Sukiru running smoothly, but we can’t guarantee:

  • 100% uptime
  • Zero bugs
  • No interruptions
  • No data loss

Maintenance and technical issues can happen. Using Sukiru is at your own risk.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, we’re not liable for:

  • Loss of profits
  • Loss of business or revenue
  • Loss of data
  • Business interruption
  • Reputational damage
  • Indirect or consequential losses

If we are found liable, our total liability is limited to:

  • The amount you paid us in the previous 12 months; or
  • £100 if you haven’t paid anything.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded under UK law.

15. If Something Goes Wrong (Indemnity)

If your use of Sukiru, your content, or your actions cause legal claims or losses against us, you agree to cover those losses.

16. Suspension or Termination

We may suspend or permanently close your account if you:

  • Break these Terms
  • Engage in unlawful or harmful behaviour
  • Misuse the platform

If your account is terminated:

  • Your access ends immediately
  • We may delete your data

17. Privacy

Your use of Sukiru is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

You’re responsible for ensuring you have lawful grounds to collect and store your clients’ personal data.

18. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

If changes are important, we’ll make reasonable efforts to let you know.

If you continue using Sukiru after changes take effect, you’re agreeing to the updated Terms.

19. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Any disputes will be handled by the courts of England and Wales, unless mandatory consumer laws say otherwise.
